24Hr Urine Test

24 hour urine collections are required as part of the assessment of several conditions.

The collections require the urine to be store in different ways and may require the receptacle to have acid to preserve a particular chemical.

The best way to perform a test is to pass water in the morning in the lavatory- please make a note of this time.
Once you bladder is empty all the urine that is passed over the next 24 hours must be into the container provided.
The following morning please finish the test by passing water into the container at the same time as the previous day.

Should you be required to provide more than one 24 hour collection you can immediately start the next collection.

You should be provided with further information when you collect the appropriate bottles.
